Lapis lazuli skull sculpture, carved from a solid block and crafted in a realistic style, without any attempt at gratuitous decorative effect.

Lapis lazuli has a deep blue color, with lighter natural veins and contrasting mineral areas.

The sculpture does not seek anatomical realism on a 1:1 scale, but rather accuracy in proportions and expression. The jawline and full set of teeth are finely sculpted, and the eye sockets and nose are accurately carved.
